seasonal kids biking to school

now that the weather is warming up in my area, kids are starting to bike to school again. I saw a young man this morning. big smile on his face only thing I would have added to his "kit" would be light gloves, front & rear strobes & a hi-viz vest

if you have kids venturing out, you might double check their safety sense. free country, do what you want, but I can't imagine anything worse than a dead kid. we had one near us many years ago & another struck but not killed less that 2 years ago. doesn't even matter if they use a special crossing with city mounted strobes. some idiot can still get at our kids. might as well make sure we / they cover the basics under our control
