recommend a rear wheel or wheel set
I have a 2016 specialized Diverge road bike with disc brakes and factory wheels. They say Axis sport. After reading through here trying to trouble shoot a couple different craking sounds, I found that there are about a half dozen spokes in the rear that have cracks where they enter the rim. Some have one crack. Some have two. One has 3 cracks that are about a half inch long. Front rim looks fine. Could you recomm end a replacement ? Durability is more important than weight. I'm 210 lbs. Ride mostly 25-30 mile road rides and then longer 50-70 milers on the weekends. Suggestions for an easy swap with something that is durable. Could I replace just the rear and keep the front or is it wise to replace as a set? Thanks.

https://www.universalcycles.com/shop...s.php?id=82311 36 spokes and a good quality rim should last you quite a few years.

mechanically sound
Personally, I’d just replace the rear rim with an eyeletted rim that has the same ERD and spoke count. No need to touch the front if it ain’t broke.

Oh, and a rear wheel is recommended for a bicycle, otherwise it'd be an awkward unicycle.

I would like to find a rim with 6 bolt rotor attachment. From the brief looking I've done, everything seems to be centerbolt. I do have an 8 speed cassette too.

Hey OP, what's your price limit ? I'd take a look at BicycleWheelWarehouse, they do good work at good prices, though I didn't see any of their best prices on the road/disc options.

maybe check out Vuelta wheels. https://www.vueltausa.com/vuelta-whe...eel-parts.html
they have a set of corsica pro II disc wheels for $220. and thru August free shipping on orders over $100.
i have ran corsica pro rim brake wheels on my 2010 roubaix for the last 4 years without problems. never even had to get them trued in that time and i was 200-255 in that time span. granted that was only riding on smooth paved trails.

I checked out the bicyclewheelwarehouse and emailed them with what I needed. They were quick to respond and very helpful. I am going to order the wheels they recommended: cxdpro gravel/cx/road 700c tubeless clincher disc.

The "gravel" model I think you mention has 32 spokes, which is what you want. The "road" model only has 24 spokes which might be a tad light for us bigger fellows. Good luck.

One more question...the wheels will have an 8/9/10/11 Shimano mtb freehub. I’m using an 8 speed Shimano cassette. Will i need a spacer?
