Eff you, blind spot! I was just gonna get a helmet mirror, but this one seems to be better for my wack arse blindish left eye and not to mention cheaper.

Right on bud! Will keep that in mind. I just have to make sure it will go all the way through my fork, or the nut/bolt thing to fit in the fork. Most new calipers are too tight to fit in fork.
Thanks a bunch for the heads up

My fixed gear, being from a BMX brand, came with a pivotal post and uncomfortable BMX seat. Finally got sick of it and scored a lightly used Fizik Aliante saddle for $22.
Chain Reaction was having a sale so I picked up a laidback Thomson Elite post for about $50. Unfortunately I thought my frame had a 27.2 diameter, but discovered it is actually a 25.4. Ended up scouring eBay and found a Cannondale C3 for $15. It's not nearly of the same quality as the Thomson but it'll do.

I still haven't decided if I want to keep it or not though, since I would like to eventually upgrade my frame, and if I do I would use it. I'll probably make up my mind in a few weeks.

Sure. I'd like that. I can measure mine to see if it's the correct length. thanks again!
Sure, let me know if you need me to measure the bolt or anything. It's this one, in black, 47-57mm: https://www.amazon.com/Origin8-Class.../dp/B00PWRTZQG

Always good to have a Thomson post in the bin especially in a 27.2! I love all my Thomson posts they are reasonably light, super well made in the US and look good. Plus as people have said they are easy to re-sell.
However always measure twice and order once. Unfortunately I bought a frame and they said 27.2 and I was like awesome, Thomson in silver done, then I got the frame and it was 27.0 so I had the fun task of sanding down the Thomson post since they don't do silver in 27.0 and didn't want kalloy or anything like that. I currently have 4 of their posts and wouldn't change that for any reason except maybe for a Ti post but those are much more expensive.

Not my photo but of one found online, got it from a friend because I have been needing a workstand and I love vintage stuff, I may hold on to it or buy the one I really want from Park and sell this but it is cool to have and would look cool with some vintage bikes in it.

No tray : ( but I bet I could figure a way to get one to work. I need to go through it all and regrease some stuff. When he brought it over the first thing I did was wipe down and regrease where the head goes in (or whatever one might call it) with some good ole' Phil Grease (I don't use PolyLube at home usually just Phil or Finish Line)

The local bi-annual bike swap was today. I sold the pink unicorn bike I had built up a little while ago. Glad to see it find a new home. Brought home some little stuff I was happy to find. The swap here is really great, awesome folks and prices. I never leave empty handed. Today’s haul was:
Surly ultra new ss mtb hub-$25 perfect for the Schwinn High Sierra build I’m sourcing parts for
EAI deluxe cog 20t -$10
Surly 19t cog-$10
Selle Royal Prestige saddle-$15
yay!

Picked up some new shoes today: Giro Privateer Lace-up. Haven't ridden them yet, but first impressions are great fit and really nice quality, and I got them for 30% off. Also picked up cleats for my Crank Bros pedals and new brake cables to switch the IRO to drop bars. Got a 39t chainring coming in the mail, so it should be a pretty proper SSCX rig when I'm done.

I just scored this(whole bike) for 12 hours worth of voulenteer points.(120 points=120 dollars =12 hours) Stoked on the find.
Next two things I am going to try and either buy or work towards are some brake levers/hoods for drop bars, so I can put drops back on and ride the hoods, and then a comfier saddle than the current Bontrager one I've got on it at the moment.
Ganbarinasu Wish me luck, chuck!

I raced Cranksgiving miami today and placed 5th overall and First out of towner. Walked away with this Deda stem thats a little longer than my 110m stem and 2 new origin8 25c tires. Also got a DKlien Purist water bottle.
