Looks like I need to have 10 posts before I can send a PM.
I don't actually have the Hotshot yet, but it should be delivered in a week or so. I probably won't know exactly how for back/up the mount should go until I get the taillight in hand and can hold it up and measure against my saddlebag. I'll ping you again once I have it.

Using Google Images sucks if you are trying to post images in forums.

GoPro Handlebar End Plug Mount
Here was a request that came from weightweenies forum. It was a much more complicated model than I had originally thought it would be. Anyone who has worked with a printing service knows by now that there are a lot of restrictions on what can and can't be printed. In order to get this model to pass all the automated checks, it needed a few design modifications.
Here is what was requested, It was a GoPro style mount that had to be sturdy and mount in place of either side handlebar end plug. It needed to allow normal handlebar tape installation with the tape tucked into the bar end. It had to rotate and maintain the position without slipping. It must be as compact as possible. Here is what it looks like:
Handlebar End GoPro Mount - Home.jpg
Now to get this to function certain steps need to be done in a certain order. Here are the installation instructions:

Now to get this to function certain steps need to be done in a certain order. Here are the installation instructions:
- Separate all parts by cutting the two scrap pins used to hold all three sections together during printing and polishing.
- Insert an M3 x 8mm screw into the bottom of the GoPro section with the threads sticking up through the serrated surface.
Handlebar End Rotatable GoPro Mount #1.jpg - Place an M8 nut into the recess inside the front hole of the plug base. Make sure it is seated into the recess provided.
Handlebar End Rotatable GoPro Mount #2.jpg - Attach both sections together and slightly tighten the screw and nut together.
- Insert an M6 x 45mm socket head cap screw into the front of the mount plug base.
Handlebar End Rotatable GoPro Mount #3.jpg - Insert an M6 nut into the rear section of the expander plug.
Handlebar End Rotatable GoPro Mount #4.jpg - Screw the sections together leaving them slightly loose to facilitate fitting into the handlebar end.
- Insert into handlebar end and adjust the angle until satisfied, then tighten the M6 screw.
- Adjust the rotational angle of the GoPro section, then tighten the M3 screw.
- Attach your GoPro style camera per their instructions.

I had a request to make a GoPro mount that would work with the integrated Garmin out in front mount on a Venge Vias.
image-jpg.168199.jpg
Plan was to replace the retention plate under the mount. Here is the rendering. Printed part on it's way for testing.

Just wanted to drop back in and say thanks for the mounts! I got a Cervelo S-series short Gopro mount + Gopro to Hotshot adapter. The only slight issue was that the captive nut arrangement on the gopro side of the S-series mount was not tight enough to keep the nut from spinning. I ended up having to put the nut and bolt in backwards and hold the nut with a pair of pliers. I'm not planning to swap out the light, so no issues on needing a pair of pliers.

Over the next few months I plan on redoing all the seat post mounts with a newer design for the head end, Still not the way I like it but it is coming along. Might take a while to get everything updated.
@SysteX, thanks for the pictures.

A word of warning to anyone with a Venge that wants to mount any action cam to the bottom of the Edge mount. Specialized did show a wind tunnel video with a GoPro Hero4 Session mounted underneath a Garmin Edge. It was a prototype mount that was used to test the effects of the GoPro on aerodynamics and wattage. The conclusion was that the GoPro required 1 watt of additional power. That was the good news. Specialized did not show any actual video from the Hero4 Session. Specialized has appeared to have abandoned the idea of mounting the action cam under the Garmin Edge mount as the vibration made the video footage unusable. This is a Specialized issue, not one of any of us here that uses or designed a mount for the Venge, which would require Specialized to re-engineer their computer mount. I am keeping the two I have in my storefront, but have added a plainly worded warning that you may experience vibration in the video footage.

Wahoo ELEMNT / Garmin Edge Adapter
Been getting a lot of requests from Specialized riders that have the integrated mounts for Garmins. The design does not allow for other interfaces, such as the Wahoo ELEMNT. You can't just build one that screws in either since the ELEMNT tabs are 90° offset from Garmins. So this might be a possible solution. It quarter-turn locks into an existing Garmin mount then provides a ELEMNT mount on top of it. It does raise the element 7 mm higher than a Garmin Edge would sit.

I haven't been busy doing stuff for bicycling here lately, mostly designing and printing things for a new computer build I am working on with my daughter. I did get two requests this month.
1. Apparently Trek did not consider Garmin Edge 1000 users when they created a low Blendr cyclocomputer mount. The person that contacted me called Trek and they said they didn't and wouldn't have something that worked. So he asked me to design something and here it is.
Bontrager Blendr Long _ Low Insert v5.jpg
Of course like all my other Garmin mounts it works in landscape and portrait without modifications, It is much deeper and long enough to provide clearance for turning and locking the Edge 1000.
2. Someone else wanted to duplicate the functionality he had with my K-Edge Di2 Interface. He just got a new Bontrager stem that has the integrated Blendr support so he wanted a low Blendr mount with a Di2 Junction box mount on the bottom. This was the result.

Just got this in an email today from someone who has been using the Garmin SWAT mount for a few months. It is nice to see something you designed being of use to other fellow cyclists. He is using the short mount which gets the Varia as far up as possible behind the saddle.
I asked permission to repost these images before he sent them to me.

Bontrager Flare|Flare RT Seat Post Mount
Most of the time I don't question when people ask me to help them design something unique. I figure it is a learning experience for the both of us. If I know something won't work, I will usually try to dissuade them from pursuing it. In the case of this model, it is the first scenario. With that said, here is a Bontrager Flare/Flare RT seat post mount for a 34 mm round seat post. It can be found here.
34mm Flare Seat Post Mount v2.jpg
To attach to a seat post I design all the clamps pretty much the same, two M3 x 16 mm socket head cap screws and two M3 nylon insert lock nuts. All hardware can usually be found at local hardware stores or home centers worldwide.

How about a replacement arm for a Bar Fly Direct MINI Mount, the one that works on Fizik and 3T stems that have the slot in the front. The thing with this one is that it is for the Wahoo ELEMNT and it mounts the device slightly lower that the original Bar Fly mount.

This is for people who would like to mount a Varia Headlight on any normal Garmin Edge Mount. It is about 4 mm thick. It was a request from someone that wanted to mount his Varia headlight on a Bontrager Blendr Low mount.

I am finding it hard to believe that no one else does 3D printed mounts for all the various devices we hang from our bikes. Where did everyone go?
On another note, I did get a request from another Varia user. It appears there are quite a few people using multiple Varia devices on the rear of their bikes. This is a three way Garmin mount, that can go on the back of a rear rack. A custom request the top two mounts are 150 mm center-to-center. the lower mount is 45 mm centerline-to-center. Mounting holes are 50 mm center-to-center and the entire mount is 10 mm thick.
