I bought a pink Super Sport frame off of the guy with the Prelude. It was in excellent shape.

1975 Original Viscount Aerospace Pro

Interesting bike, in my town but I don't know the seller.

https://tucson.craigslist.org/bik/3244288770.html

This is an all original 57cm Viscount Aerospace pro made by Trusty of England everything on it is stock and branded Viscount. (aside from consumables i.e. tires, cables, housing, bar tape) It was fully overhauled by me a former bicycle mechanic everything is in perfect working order. Rear derailleur is a Shimano Crane the predecessor of Dura ace and the Front is Shimano Titlist also top of the line for the period. This is a collectible but perfectly serviceable for daily use. I am wavering on whether or not I will sell it or keep it in my collection this is a trial run, it is a very cool part of cycling history one of the first high end fillet brazed frames to be made from this time period. This was the top of the Viscount line in 1975 and is pretty darn light for the time and materials. Any questions please call 5two0 4eight8 83four2. I am selling it because it does not get ridden and needs a good home. I will not sell to someone who does not Love bikes! It also has a functioning Huret odometer on it from the same time period. Thanks for looking!

Selling or trading my late 80's Schwinn Paramount 594 road bike. It's a 12 speed with all gears working properly (recently serviced at bicycle revolutions). It has some miles and paint damage, but nothing major. It's the perfect road bike for someone looking for a performance bike they can beat around and not worry about.
Just had a new chain installed, rear deraileur replaced and serviced, new triple puncture resistant bontrager tire, and nearly new brooks saddle.
The wheels are pretty darn close to true, and the brakes work amazing. All in all the bike is in great riding shape. If your not concerned too much with looks, even though it still looks boss, but are more concerned with performance, than this is it. Pics, show all except it's a bit cleaner and had some of the above things done after the pics. I might be willing to negotiate and am definitely interested in trades. I'm looking for a nice fixie or single speed and would love if you sent me some pics.. The bike may need some new bar tape at some point and new brake hoods. Love this bike but I can't stand city traffic anymore and don't want to kill my gears/ cranks.
Give me a call at 267-221-3406 or email,
Thanks,
T

I still don't have my head around vintage campy. Is this something?

https://cleveland.craigslist.org/bik/3200694357.html

Front and rear derailleur and shifters.. Campagnolo Velox. Nice patina, and with a bit of polish would clean up nicely.

It's Valentino/Velox, and not worth too much. Might be good for a grocery getter or a bar bike? I used a Velox rear on a bike and it shifted just fine. Buy it if you need it, but not as an investment....

[h=2]Colnago Super 57cm - $600 (Beverly, Salem)[/h]

Date: 2012-09-05, 10:15AM EDT

I have what I believe to be a 1983 Colnago Super. The paint does have some chipping but is original and zero dents. She has brand-new fizik bar tape, brake cables/cable housing, and specialized armadillo tires. This bike is in excellent condition and is ready to ride. I'm selling her because she is just slightly too big for me.

*** If the ad is up the bike is available, no need to ask ***

She is equipped with:
Cinelli bars/stem
Dura Ace down tube shifters and rear derailleur
Campagnolo seat post, front derailleur, rear hub laced to mavic rim.
Shimano 600 cranks / brakes / brake levers / front hub to mystery rim
selle italia turbo saddle
I can include a campagnolo front hub if you're interested

Another interesting detail is the race number tab on the under side of the top tube which did not come on standard production models which means she was probably a race bike.

* Does NOT come with the brooks saddle, or the clipless pedals in the 2nd picture *

Please email or txt any questions 603.313.2115

I suspect no one snaggged it. The seller likely got inundated with emails and text and pulled the ad. keep checking it may repost $1000

Can't tell much from the pic but I think $150 for a Univega Touring rig is a decent deal. https://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst...246061029.html

[h=2]Fuji Road Bike - $230 (Vancouver)[/h]

Im selling a Fuji Road Bike. Its in good condition except for some small scratches. The bike rides smoothly and there is nothing wrong with it. I don't know how old it is because I bought it used. The reason I'm selling it is because I don't ride it anymore and I would rather have the cash than a bike. I would like $230 for it but give me your best offer. If interested email or text me at (503)567-6046.

Vitus 979 road bike. This was a top racing bike in its day. Bike has been rebuilt from the ground up with a mix of newer and older parts, including some nice Campagnolo parts. The bike does show some wear, a few scratches here and there. Size is 51 (51 cm seat tube center to center). The bike is currently set up for someone around 5'6" - 5'7", but could fit anyone between 5'4" to 5'9" with some adjustments.

Very solid, fun to ride. Also very light, just 19 lbs as it stands. 2 x 8 gearing (16 speeds). Shifters on the down tube.

Like the seat? Although its a bit worn it's a great saddle. Its a Bassano, Italian made, leather, all the color is stitched. Its seen better days but is still surprisingly comfortable.

If you are only interested in the frame talk to me. I might be willing to part it out.

I travel to Durham and Chapel Hill a couple times a month, so I could deliver if need be.

$350 or best reasonable offer. Cash only, local sale, no shipping.

One of the best bang for the buck classic Japanese Lugged steel frames available. Bike is equipped with almost complete set of Shimano 600 Tri-color Groupset (everything minus brake levers). Bike is in great functional shape. I just took it for a 10 mile shakedown ride yesterday and it shifts, brakes and rides very smooth. Very quick and agile bike. Also quite light for a steel bike at around 22 lbs. This is a great entry level bike, but also suitable very experienced riders that like classic Japanese steel. I am not the best photographer, so the pictures do not do it justice. There are normal scratches for a bike this age, but it is in great riding condition with no rust or any issues. Tires have lots of tread and wheels are true.

Comes take it for a test ride (cash in hand) and you will see what a great ride this thing is. Email me if you have any questions or if you are interested. Please put "Centurion" in subject line or email will be ignored.

Anyone under 5'9"? really? that explains why the Cinelli post and stem are so high. I know this is a good builder but $900 for a Triomphe equipped bike?

1 - Down Tube 630 mm - .8/.5/.8
1 - Head Tube 200 mm

Includes 1 NOS Decal Set (The decal sets are pre-1978 pre-"TI" era "Reynolds Tube Co. Ltd." ones. These are the genuine NOS Reynolds dry-fix "transfers." They should always be applied over the final clear coat)
Copies of Technical Data Sheet T201 (2 pages), T202, and T203. These discuss Composition, Physical Properties, Brazing, Brazing Sequence, Butting details for Cutting, etc.

4 photos, one of the tube set, one of the decals and data sheets, one with web photos showing the decal design (these changed over the years) and one showing where I cleaned off the end with the "Stamped Identification Mark" which designated which end to use for the first cut. Hard to photograph.

we're back, once again, from the Midwest with another wave of
sweet bikes cherry-picked from garage/estate sales
and the occasional barn.

this bike is in such stellar condition it looks practically out-of-box.

vintage 1987 Schwinn "Voyageur" road bike.

with a 23" frame this is a pretty tall bike, good for someone
around 6' 2" or taller.

This Voyageur appears to be in fantastic shape, not a bad buy for someone looking for a touring rig imo. I'd pick it up myself if I could justify one more project.

That's a nice looking bike! And it seems to be in great condition which would make it a great deal for someone on the smaller size.
