ISO: Parts for a ~1979 Peugeot PXN10LE, I'm building for my Nephew.
My nephew is:
A. 16
B. 6 feet and growing
C. A Francophile
D. Starting to really get into riding.
He is outgrowing the 57cm Performance road bike I got him a few years ago. So I got this Peugeot frame and fork (thanks #TrboDieselPwrd ) to build up as a birthday gift (September). I'd like to build it up with as original components as possible, but I have other stuff that will make do in a pinch. So if anyone has correct parts to spare, let me know. Specifically I am ISO period-correct:
- Mafac comp brake levers/hoods (I have calipers on the way)
- Stem, bars
- Stronglight 105 crank, bis rings preferred. (I have a later 104 on there for now
- Simplex mechs (it has the later Campy-compatible hanger)
- 26.4 post
- Wheels, or just some Module 700 rims.
The frame has a bit of patina and a repaired dropout, so parts can be rider quality. Let me know what you might have. I have lots of Italian stuff that I could trade.

A scan of the Miele Catalogue Page showing the 1985 BETA bicycle. It used to be on My Ten Speeds but that site is iaccessible these days and the image I found on the Way back Machine is only the thumbnail and the full size image isn't archived. Thus I can't make out the details of what was on the bike as factory built.

Looking For French Left Hand Cranks!
Somehow, I have found myself in the funny position of having 3 sets of right hand French cranks but missing their left hand brethren! I would dearly love to complete each of the sets and if there is a stash to be found, the BF community is the best place to go. Two of the desired cranks are from the venerable Stronglight Model 93 (French pedal threaded 170mm and 14x125) and Model 99 (English 170 9/16 x 20) and to keep things interesting, I have an oddball TA Specialites Zephyr (Droite 167.5mm BSC) that is beautiful but lonely by itself - see photo!
To trade? I have an interesting collection of older European road bikes things with a good deal of French stuff but would love to work out a deal, even through PayPal, to complete any of the incomplete cranksets!
Thanks in advance for your help!

My most durable rims for your most lightweight 650b rims
I have a bunch of Ambrosio Keba "confreriale" 650b rims, with double eyelets and 36 holes, which I bought for touring. They're unobtainium now, and really nice. I've recently turned into a weight weenie thanks to Vitus 979 ownership. So on my 650b bike, I want some lighter wheels. Has anybody got a set of 32h 650b rims that weigh under 450g that they'd trade for the venerable 36h Ambrosio Keba, the best 650b touring rim ever made? Maybe some Pacentis?

Toe Clips to trade
I have four sets of toe clips which are either too small or too big for me. They are all in pretty good shape though the Campy toe clips have some chrome loss at the strap loop. I'd like to trade for something more my size, 6.5-7cm in similar shape. (The images demonstrate how I crudely measured size.) I have:
- Cycle Pro/Ale - XL ~7.5cm
- Campagnolo - M ~5.5cm
- Christophe D - S/M ~5cm
- Christophe/AFA - M ~5.5cm

ISO - 9-speed cassette cluster with 32 or 34T large cog. To fit Shimano-style freehub.
Have - lots of older rear derailleurs, front derailleurs, shifters, handlebars, many freewheels, 7- and 8-speed cassettes, saddles misc and other considerations.
EDIT: Sourced. Thx, Andy.

Wondering if there are any 5 bolt BCD 122 chainrings in a 50T count from Sugino or Sakae Ringyo around. Would love to trade for it if available!
Thanks all,
EDIT! My goof, should have used the digital cal on it instead of the tape measure. Not a 122 but the 118 (which is a good thing!)

Hey guys, I'm looking for a good quality 1" headset for my 90's Bianchi. It has Campagnolo Record on it right now, but I'm looking for some options. And also a 700c 36H racy'ish front rim. Thanks!

benbrg Welcome to C&V! You already have a good quality headset. Why change?
A "racy'ish" front rim might be a tubular rim. Help us understand why you need a rim an/or what you really need. Do you want to match the rear rim?

Is there a problem with Record headset? It is a high quality headset. Cannot see how you are going to get used one as nice as that for a reasonable price. Most people probably would not think of a 36 hole rim if looking for a "racy'ish" one. Not being critical, just don't get you are actually looking for.

Is there something wrong with the Record headset? You'd be hard-pressed to find a higher quality 1" headset, unless you manage to find one of the Stronglight roller bearing units.

I would like to get another pair of Shimano N600EX aero brake levers first generation. Like these ones - not Tri-colour. The ones I want would be from the non-index shifter groupset.

I'm sure there was some Japanese manufacturer who copied Stronglight's 122bcd pattern until they came to their senses and realized how relatively useless it is!
