Trek frame size
Hi all,
I have a 1991 Trek 1100 I got a while ago. There is no factory markings or stickers that say the frame size. I was curious how Trek measured there frames dureing that period. I read on google that the serial number included the frame size. If so looking at the number it didnt make any sense to me. I just want to know how I should measure it so I know what I have. I've googled several things and every one says to measure from different places. It's simply out of curiosity. The bike fits I ride it often. Thanks.

I've owned a number of Treks from the '90s (and '00s as well), and the frame measurement indicated on the bike (if it's there) is pretty consistently the center-to-top measurement. That is, the center of the bottom bracket to the top of the seat tube. My '97 MultiTrack 750 has a 21" frame and it's exactly 21" C-to-T.
