Thumbies with a handlebar bag ??

I just installed paul thumbies on my new touring bike and am wondering what types of handelbar bags would be compatable with the thumbies, both in terms of space for the bag mounting hardware as well as having enough space so the bag itself does not get in the way of the thumbies range of motion. I like to use a good size handlebar bag with a map on top that I can access while riding and my current Jandd handlebar bag II is not going to work. Appreciate any suggestions. Thanks. Jim

How about a rando-style rack and bag?

Ortlieb makes a good bag that mounts to the stem.
You can purchase the map case seperately.

Ride to a bike store that carries Ortlieb and see if their handlebar bags interferes with your thumbies.

+1 other bags have a better spacer to put it ahead of the handle bar..
I use a second stem under the first.. bar bag mount goes on it.

Look at the Arkel Handlebags and mounting system.
