My new Juiced Crosscurrent Air with the 17.4Ah battery.
I picked up this bike a few weeks ago from Juiced Bikes. I'm loving it. It has a 17.4 Ah Battery and so far I've gone about 50 miles and still retained a 50% or so charge according to the bike. I'm excited to see how far I can go until the battery is totally drained at some point!

My Recumbent Tandem, "Silk Road"
I'm going to be selling my bike, after 19 years of careful, easy use; it's in great shape. Hip replacement and age-related balance issues are making it too difficult to ride. I hope to get a Terratrike recumbent tandem, with Bionx. How much do you think I should ask for Silk Road, including the Bionx (battery still good) and the Magura hydraulic brakes?
I built this bike about 11 years ago; check out details on it at : . My wife & I rode it a lot for the first 9 years, over 24,000 miles, but we really quit for the last 2 years (house remodel & other stuff got in the way). When we tried to get going again, it just seemed awfully hard to build up to any kind of distance. I got the Bionx 350L 2 weeks ago and the bike is fun again!

I finally assembled this from a Wilderness Energy Bike Electrified kit, a beach cruiser, a bunch of spare parts, and lots of patience!
It's lots of fun to ride, although still sorting out some issues...

Here's my two e-bikes so far.
1. Conversion of a Giant "Escape" commuter with a 350W 36V Hill Topper front e-wheel first with 20 mile Ranger bag battery and then changed with Horizon 17 to 40 mile lockable slide in and out battery.
2. Foldable Hill Topper 350W 36V Hill Topper front e-wheel with Horizon 17 to 40 mile lockable slide in and out battery.

Also, one day in the future I might try to convert an older Schwinn tandem cruiser to a 350W 36v Hilltoper Ranger kit.
I'm addicted to e-bike riding!

This project started out to see if I could put a 240mm motorcycle tire on a bike. I was having a beer and cruising eBay and I "accidentally" bought a Harley wheel. So that committed me to building the bike! I started with a Chrom moly MTB frame and fabricated a new rear triangle and bottom bracket. It rode fine as a pedal bike and I used it like that for a while. I then decided to go electric. The front wheel is the drive motor so I am limited to the rim unless I decide to re-lace it. I would also need to replace the fork to do a wider tire and I like the modifications I have made to this fork. This rides fine except for a little torque steer. It is very stable due to the weight. It stops well with the front V brake and the rear disc. It has a range of at least 20 miles. People love the look!

2012 Kona Dr Good with Electric Bike Conversions Ltd kit
My new commuter workhorse. I do 17 miles each way 2 or 3 times each week. This makes it manageable with heavy bags etc and without needing a shower before work (at least that's what I think - not sure what my office mates think!). I used a Monkii Mono bag with a Gorilla Clip to house the controller and wires under the down tube, which I think is a really nice, neat solution. And I have Avenir Brahma bullhorn bars for comfort and a range of positions up front.

I had my Moulton TSR27 modified to E-assist by ARCC innovations....this is a stock image and my own is orange.
Range around 26 miles on lowest range of assist but the small battery means that a spare can be carried.

My Next conversion. Next is a Canadian low end bike. Steel frame and side pull brakes
1, 000 watt motor with a 16 amp hour 52 volt lithium battery. I installed "elevenz" biggest tallest bmx bars you can get for comfort and I can stand up while speeding through a bumpy intersection which is good for my back.
Over 200 Lbs here so only get a top speed on the flats of 55 kph but had it up to 70 kph down a hill.
As I mostly run it at top speed I only get about a 30 km range using little to no pedal power mostly because front derailier not hooked up and chain on smallest front sprocket. The plan is to switch the electric motor to my Norco Katmandu to gain front suspension and disc brakes. I have a 1.95" front tire and a 2.4" back tire gives me less then 1/8" clearance between tire and frame but big tire really smoothes out the bumps and highly recommended even without a motor. The controller and screen built in Vancouver by Grin industries and everything works really good I have e-brake as is direct drive 1000w Crystalyte motor and hilly country no problem pedal up a steep hill to maintain a 25 kph speed limit don't break a sweat. Very happy with this equipment.

Well i got hold of a circa 1996 GT LTS-3 recently, it was a wreck but the softly sprung full-bouncer frame was ideal for my latest build - as i'm car-free and need to carry the brat to school, do shopping, etc as well as play.
The system is 45A @ 48v, the battery is 30ah @ 53v with 60A rated release, cruise control, regenerative, PAS, puts out about 1800 watts. There are some out there with a hell of a lot more power, but i built it to thrash for hours with reliability.
Looks are a matter of taste, i wanted wood and wicker too but i'm starting with practicality, and it'll get tweaked over the coming weeks.

Got this IZip Dash this spring and am pretty impressed! I've assembled several ebikes from hub motors, one mid drive and a trike but I found a new but left over 2 year-old bike online. Saved a bundle and almost the same price as a kit with lithium ion.
