25% Tariff On Chinese E-Exports
Probably old news by now, but they're trying to add e-bikes to the group of China-manufactured products that will receive a 25% tariff when exported to the USA.

Looks like it applies to bikes going through customs after 8/23. Haibike (Taiwan) and other manufacturers that don't procure their bikes from China will have a big advantage. Applies to motors too.

IMHO the benefit to the citizens of USA having easier access to ebikes and bikes in general produced in China would be enhanced by exclusion from the industry damaging tariff. Get more cars off the road at commuting times.
