Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

X Trail

I like this bike! Anybody running one? I would be using for rail trails and dirt roads. Currently using my hybrid.

how hilly are your dirt roads?

its 50/34 to 11-32 so your low will be 34 to 32. :'( Easy enough to fix with a 11-34 or different crank, but that adds to the cost.

Personally I didn't like the 50/34 crank paired to a 40c tire.

Pretty flat for the most part. One thing I noticed (which I don't like) is the quick release rear wheel and TA front. Whats up with that, seems strange!

I almost mentioned it, but didn't.

I think QR rear is okay, but the 135 spacing for gravel is meh!!!!

the new standard will be 142x12. If you never want to upgrade your wheels awesome and no big deal. if you are custom building no big deal, but buying off the shelf, ouch!

If you want something funny, I was thinking to sell my supersix but keep the Hollowgram wheels. but they are 135 QR / 100x12 Maybe I should buy a X-trail. hahah
