Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Hello all. First post. Installed the new fork yesterday.

Only after looking at these pictures do I notice that my saddle looks very nose-down. But it's where I ended up being most comfortable after adjustments.

Paolo Guerciotti. He still owns the company. Lenard Zinn did a story about his visit to the factory on VeloNews. You should search it. They're all still made in Italy, including my cheapo.

Id really like to know.
I am trying to get together a nice winter/2 bike on the cheap as well and would love to hear how you have achieved this!

Those are my road racing tires. I'm still debating whether to take them off and use those carbon wheels as 'cross wheels.

Wow the Ridley, Guerciotti and the Schwinn are all drool inducing for different reasons.
can the owners comment on how much each one weighs fully dressed?

Here are my humble steeds......

Bacon, those are some really nice pictures, and a great bike.

Also, TMonk, and everyone else... You don't HAVE to quote the post with a ton of pictures, as that will just drag along a single page.

I realize I'll take some flak for my bike but I don't give a crap I love it and even thou it's been posted before I have made some updates so reposting it again. Some background I choose something to take me back to my childhood as I feel like such a kid when I'm on it. Therefore I choose a colour combination that reminded me of my childhood favorite, Hot Wheels, I love it and gives me tons of happyness from just looking at it to the comments I recieve while out riding it which have always been wow!

On the front rim, you can barely see that small Kangaroo decal, so I'm guessing they're Velocity Aeroheads.

Thanks for the quick reply! Are these available in Europe or US market only? Had a quick look at their website but did not find the answer to that

Yes, they are Velocity Aeroheads. They're available in the U.S. and I'm pretty sure also in Europe and elsewhere.

Sorry -- haven't been to Charlotte, NC in a few years, perhaps my bike's long-lost twin. I have seen this same colorway though in the NYC area some, definitely bright.

Needs purple hoods.
definitely!
