Bottom Bracket spacer
Hi, just pulled a Truative Square LE cartridge bracket from my friends 2004 Hardrock https://www.bikepedia.com/QuickBike/...spx?item=92367 its a 68x113 bracket, however there is a spacer on it, do I just put that spacer on a new Shimano UN-55 as well?

Measure.
Is the chain line in the desired location?
Is the UN55 and Truative the same width; same distance from fixed cup to end of spindle?
Measurements of the parts you have will give you the answer.
Anything else is a GUESS and likely wrong because no one else has the parts to measure.
