Welcome Debba, I hitchhiked across Canada in summer of 1974. I have fond memories of Toronto, staying in youth hostels for cheap, hanging out on Yonge St and doing the museums, exhibitions, etc.I went to Ottawa from there and not a pleasant experience there. The people were not friendly and I caught somekind of bug, sick for 3 days and slept on park benches during the day. I eventually made my way down the east coast to south coastal Delaware where I have lived for a long time now.
