Rode 4 times last week (ending today), hitting the goals that I set for myself:
Aug 5 - 27.5 km
Aug 7 - 27.5 km
Aug 9 - 27.5 km
Aug 11 - 29.0 km (plus hills)
Total: 111.5 km (about 70 miles)

Started week at 272.4, don't suspect that has changed, but we will see in morning.

Rode three miles on my Electra Cruiser with a troublesome Nexus 3 speed hub , then after breakfast switched it back to its original single speed hub and swapped out the tires . Rode a couple miles trying out the new tires before the heat drove me back into the A/C . By 11 the shade around here is just about gone .

August goal was 250, now 200 because I decided to take a week mostly off because I was experiencing burnout with my route. Back at it again now

8/1 10.75
8/2 10.8
8/4 10.91
8/5 10.79
8/6 6.29 the ride where the burnout cemented itself in my soul...
8/11 10.2 Sunday ride on the Loveland trail, no burnout applies, though we rode shorter than usual due to my companions.
8/14 10.29 School back in session, local roads wonderfully free of kids and cars

August to date 70.03
Year to date 1138.13

I did a night ride last night to get me caught up with my monthly goal. It was raining this morning and I didn't ride, so I'm already back behind schedule. Maybe I'll sneak home and try to ride this afternoon.

I know what you mean . I’ve got a few days coming up where I won’t be able to ride. I’m going to miss it . At least I’m close to meeting my goal this month and have two weeks left . I’ve ridden more miles than I thought I was capable of .

I managed 28 miles in the heat. I saw 106 degrees displayed on my ride computer for one stretch and literally 105 degrees in the shade for a while as well. That’s 10 degrees warmer than I’ve ever ridden in. Maybe I’ll go barf now.
