3/1 69.69 miles <insert fit of juvenile giggling> @ 19.5mph

Was slogging it hard the last 3 rides of February, trying to finish the Strava mileage challenge for the month. So this morning I washed down some beet root and caffeine pills with the ol' morning tea and zanged over to REI to pick up my spankin' new Wahoo Elemnt Bolt. Which so far-- only into the setup process, is amazing. The old Garmin looks clunkier than ever.

Is this purely outdoor riding?

Will be starting to ramp up outdoors, so if I can get 300Km (186 miles) in March, outdoors, I'll be pretty happy.

16.58/300 Km
10.30/186 miles

You are correct, sir. I know this because I was plagued by gnats in several areas along my ride this morning. These are not normal gnats, they're jumbo, Texas-sized, free range, farm raised gnats the size of small house flies. It's always pleasant to swallow a few as you ride through a gaggle of them. Heaven forbid you take one to the eyeball. A most unpleasant experience. They had started coming out before that cold snap last week so I was hoping it would freeze some of them off. I guess not.

so far, 398.7 miles with 11,772ft. I'm sticking to my goal of generally not going out of my way to get vertical feet. Whatever the day brings it brings. If I barely hit 300k feet this year that would be fine by me.
