Fun Fall Foldy Frolic...

Not as fast as I'd like, but after some modifications my $50 Dahon Getaway 5 runs and shifts smoothly, with safe, reliable braking and is relatively comfortable...and fun!

With its ISO305 wheels, derailleur gearing will leave the bike woefully under geared. There are fixes. They cost money.

Hmm. Don't know about pushing the chain and the folding joint down in the dirt like this:

Since the original chain guard disintegrated I found I could stand the bike this way in the shed to lessen its footprint. Also, under the leaves are rocks...but I see your point.
