Sad to hear that Barry Commoner died

He was very important in the beginnings of the environmental movement and inspired many people to get off their seats and get working.

I saw him when he ran for president. He related a story where a reporter asked him something like, "Dr. Commoner, are you a serious candidate, or are you just running on the issues?"
