Streetsblog is going to do a recap on a new survey our about protected bike lanes in the US. I thought about reading it but it was over 120 pages.

Not so much crazy, but more angry.......many of our poor local cycling infrastructure designs were the result of heated 11th hour compromises between auto parking and cyclists' needs.

It's worth reading for the details and the discrepancies. Some of the writing strongly suggests the study authors aren't terribly familiar with the vehicle codes of the states in the report, since they classify as erroneous the behavior of drivers and cyclists who obey the law over the paint.

Ah, but friend, I laughed because it was among dissimilar items in the list. I don't disagree, but "angry" would have been my choice of term.
