Bikepacking- 1032km
Hello everyone, me and my mate age(15) are planing to ride to the gold coast in QLD from Sydney NSW, there direct route there is around 900km's, but we are going to spread the trip over 9 days, what do you recommended we bring along with us

What period of the year are you doing this in?
it's starting to get pretty hot up here at the moment (QLD) with temperatures reaching the 40 C, so water will be your biggest problem.
I would recommend ensuring that you can find plenty of water along the way and map it in advance.
also, 900Km from Sydney would be following the pacify highway, which you won't be able to travel on in a bike (at least here in QLD) and also would not be very nice with all the cars..
Things I would take with me are:
- sleeping gear (tents, etc)
- portable water filter (sawyer, etc)
- plenty of water
- spare parts for the bikes
- dried food
- sun protection
- first aid kit
- Personal Location Beacon if you'll be travelling inland in remote areas.
- knife/multi-tool
- some gas cooker if you're planning on cooking all your meals (fire ban is in place across northern NSW and QLD)
