Cannondale SuperX max tire size

Cannondale says 40mm, but I'm curious to know if anyone has gone bigger? Maybe with 650b?
There's a thread on another forum that says the fork can fit 50mm tires with around 2mm of clearance on each side, but I'm not sure about the frame. The chain stays don't flare out a ton so I'm not sure if 650b would really gain much.

Just wondering if anyone has tried larger than 40mm on this bike?

I have 40s on mine and there is still extra room. 45s might fit with very little clearance.

With 32mm GP5K TLs installed I have 11mm of clearance on the rear. The front has more room.

Is 4.5mm of clearance enough? If my math is right that would allow for a 45mm, assuming they are true to size.

Looking at the chain stays I’m not sure 650b buys any more width. They’re nearly parallel before flaring out.

You need to clarify which year SuperX you're talking about. 2017+ models gained a lot more clearance over the previous years.

Sorry - yeah, it's a 2020 model.
