Strange Crankset
Hi folks,
I’m curious about this crankset.
It may not be C&V, but it looks like it, plus, I was told that it came off a late 80s-early 90s made in Taiwan Bianchi. Strange, because it appears to be a new bike take off. Very nice finish, no marks or grease on the big & middle rings and it’s obviously a 10 speed.
The CS is labeled ANDEL RSC6 on the backside of the arms. The back of the large ring is marked; AD 48 10S 34. the front of large & middle rings are labeled CNC 7075. It has a 110 BCD. It is drilled for a triple, but the small chain ring appears to be an addition. It’s marked SR 363 -24- & shows wear/marks.
Not so much interested in value as much as quality level
Thanks & regards,
Van

It should function as a crankset.
Andel appears to be a Taiwanese company that is still making cranks.
I'd consider it as a fairly "generic" crank from 20 years or so ago.
Your rings look brand new, and 7075 should be good aluminum.
At least the outer ring has shift pins.
Square Taper Orientation
It appears as if the crank arms were cast in a single size, and the pedal holes were drilled as needed, probably from 165mm to 175mm, or perhaps even more. Yours are 170mm.
Hard to say what they're worth. Perhaps $10 to $20 for the arms, and $20 to $30 for the rings... if you're lucky to find a buyer, eventually.

Thanks for the feedback. I got it because it looked nice, not to resale. Since the arms are cast and not forged, I'll probably put the rings on something nicer & use the arms on a flipper. 🙂
Thanks again,
Van

Strange Crankset, More info.
This Andel model, RSC-6 was used as a triple in various configuations on Some Surly bikes. Andel was also thought to be the supplier of Origin Cranksets.
Cheers,
Van
