How big of a bada$$ to ride a pink bike???

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I like the pink King Headset, does that make me a p**sy?
Ummm... yes! Thanks for the life story though. The guy asked for everyone's opinion, i gave it. Sorry if it offended you, maybe you should get some thicker skin.

I heard pink is much faster then most of the other colors.

So I think then that it was a good idea that you made both the handlebars and the seat pink... because if the seat were green then you might get stretched out to much as you pick up speed.

Also, I don't see why pink bikes or pink parts on bike are gay. Even if it does mean p****. It seems pretty hetero to me, what with rubbing your crotc* all over the pink seat and squeezing the pink handlebars... that's like s*x right there. Unless pink is really manly, and then I guess that it is gay.

Liking a pink headset doesn't make you a p**sy, being a nurse does. (I'm just kidding, so please don't kill me )

bro, I think you gotta be pretty badass to ride a pink bike, pink components and yes--even white bartape.

dirtied white bartape inspires fear and shows that you ride. personally I roll black tape, but someday I hope I can use white.

Certainly not any longer, but that is where the term derived. As you know. Poor choice of current definitions on my behalf. These days it would be better described as a lifestyle term I'm sure. None of my gay friends refer to themselves as "*****exual" because in their minds it harkens back to the days when it was a "condition" and appeared prominently among the Psychiatry definitions. They don't like the fact that it had a medical origin. A couple of them are even old enough to remember being diagnosed.

But in the case of "pink" being "*****exual" or "gay", I'll go with gay and hence back to my original comment. The discussion was about semantics, and I think "gayness" is far more in line with the allusion the person I was talking to was making.

any male that was an adult during the '80s has gotten over their insecurity regarding the color pink. If not, please don't admit to being such a weakling, it's disturbing.

I have a question, is there an opposing color that is as much masculine as pink is feminine?

if so are there girls that think riding a bike of that color is silly and rediculous?

just food for thought.
