Well, I'll be a son of a *****. It worked!
The one I bought last night says "Free Returns" - 30 day, money back, so I'm only out the cost of return shipping.

For Heidi's "Television" class (yes, she is taking a class I think it's "Intro to Television") one of her homework assignments is to watch 5 episodes of the original "The Twilight Zone" show.
I have my own favorites and I am not 100% happy with their 5 selections, but its still fun to watch that show with her. We watched "The Masks" last night.
That show was certainly ahead of its time.

It's interesting to me just how many of the episodes were in some way related to nuclear war. It really speaks to just what we were expecting back in the late 50s/early 60s. Being a kid back then, I don't remember it as anywhere near as nervous a time as it apparently was.

I don't remember that one from the original series, but even after all these years, I haven't seen all of them. It seems like whenever I tune in to the Twilight Zone Marathon on SyFy, it's ones I've seen. There were 156 episodes! Pretty amazing when you think about it. 5 years! And mostly pretty good stuff!

Congratulations you lucky devil, you're the grand prize winner as this post has landed on lucky post 7777.
All you have to do to collect your fabulous winnings is find a crap game in progress somewhere near you, or better still visit your local casino.
You are guaranteed to roll 7 at least four times. This is not the time to be "thrifty", bring the month's mortgage with you and plunk that baby down.

Agree with all of that. I could really get into an electric vehicle if it was the right kind. I’m not a fan of Tesla, and have seen some really poor quality control, but cars like the Taycan, e-Tron, Mustang Mach E, and upcoming Audi e-Tron GT have really piqued my interest. Of course, they are really expensive and beyond my budget, but with tax credits may be workable at some point. Don’t care at all for cars like the Chevy Volt. An EV would fit in our lifestyle as I rarely drive more than 50 or 60 miles in a day, a typical day (at least now) is 15 max, and we hardly ever drive more than 200 miles. But, if we got an EV now, we would just keep a gas SUV/CUV for my wife and as a travel car.
I also like the big, burbly V8s, and like that mine can hit 60 in 3.8, but there are EVs that can beat that.

Plus, the credits ends after a manufacturer sells 200,000 EV/PHEVs. So, it’s no longer available for Tesla’s and will expire in March for GM products.
I’m really curious about the base Taycan. Base price is $79,000 but with that brand the options kill you. With the credit it still might be attractive. I’m going to see what the year brings, and may take a look at them at some point. But, I’m sure my wife will tell me it’s her turn next, and it would be unwise to argue.
