dropouts

I have a Bianchi Fremont and since it is an aluminum frame, they put another metal over the dropouts. Does anyone know what the metal is? It is the same that is on the Pista Concept, im assuming it is stainless steel? Also i got some MKS track tensioners for it, for the aluminum version, but they don't fit, who here has a Fremont, and do you use a tensioners? Thanks

why do you need to know? i'm pretty sure it's going to be a kind of steel or chro-mo.

get a set of calipers and measure what kind of tensioners will fit and then measure ones available.
