LeMond Buenos Aires Frame/Fork
Looking at a 2000 that a neighbor is thinking about selling. It's a 59 so too big for me but would be a great donorcycle if I was able to flip the frameset. Any ideas about what the f/f/headset/stem might be worth?
Thanks
Charlie

All good, it happens. I reported your post, which is the fastest way to get a thread moved from my understanding.

Everything vintage, mechanical shifting, and rim brake has just really dropped in value. If it's in good condition I'd shoot for $200-$300 depending on where you live and see what happens.

I just paid $350 for a slightly older complete and in good shape Lemond Zurich (which I believe is one model higher than the BA) in the SF Bay Area (expensive market) last month. I would be surprised if you were able to get $100 - $150 for a Frame/Fork H/S.

I paid $40 for this BA frame, fork, headset, stem and seatpost some years back. Of course, the stem and seatpost were stuck, but they did come out after some solvents and persuasion were applied.
