If you go that far, why not just grind the tubes and peel them off?

Shoes Too!

Late 80s road bike - $75 (Raleigh)

Posted 2020-05-21 18:58

"I have a late 80s road bike for sale. I rode it last week and it shifts into every gear just fine, the brakes work and is still fast.

Large frame (62 or 63 cm)
This bike has a decent set of tires and new tubes
Original campagnola groupset. (Friction Shifter)
6x2 (12 speed)

The rear wheel needs to be rebuilt. Has some wobble to it.

Comes with size 47 shoes. I wear 12s and honestly they are snug. Conversion says 13.

Could be a nice bike if cleaned up and with a little TLC. It is still fast for it's age.

Text 3364795246 if interested.

bicycle frame material: steel

bicycle type: road
brake type: other/unknown
condition: fair
electric assist: none
frame size: 62cm
handlebar type: drop
make / manufacturer: Fiorelli
suspension: none (rigid)
wheel size: 700C"

1986 Bridgestone MB-2 19 Inch Medium - $280 (N Seattle)

This is a 1986 Bridgestone MB-2. This is a classic early mountain bike. It is primitive by modern standards, and isn't for everyone. It has a rigid fork, 15 speeds (3 chainrings in the front, 5 cogs in the rear), and shifting is friction-only, no clicks. The drivetrain is clean, and there is much life left on the brake pads. Everything works as it should; this bike is ready to ride. Size: The seat tube is 19" center to top, and the top tube is 22" center to center. This should be a good fit for riders in the 5-7 to 5-10 range. Cash only please. Outdoor pickup in the Northgate area

Bianchi Volpe 55mm - $450 (Fairmount, Philly)

This is quite the package and for a more than fair price (there are a lot of round black things in this photo!).

If I had $400 or even $375 I'd probably be talking my way into this sale... but alas fatherly duties conflict.
