Will 28mm tyres fit my Specialist Roubaix?
Hi
I am running factory original Specialist branded 700 x 26C tyres on my 2016 Specialist Roubaix. I will need new tyres soon.
I commute 16km each way on my bike and there is a lot of broken glass on the road edge. I want a tough wide tyre like this one.

Continental don't make a 700 x 26C version, but they do make a 700 x 32C tyre.
Is anyone able to tell me if a 700 x 32C will fit my bike?

32’s on a rim brake bike like that I doubt they will fit. Stick to 25s and 28s which is the max.

I have what I believe is the same frame (2014 Roubaix Expert) and have 28s Continental Tubeless on Shimano C24 rims. I believe my Roubaix originally had Fulcrum rims with Specialized's own brand of tire labeled 25/28 which I thought was unusual. I love tubeless though getting Contis on any rim is a real pain on every rim I have.

Hi
The specs for my bike are here.
The 700 x 26C tyres just fit between the brake shoes.
I see the Gatorskins are available in sizes 25C and 28C. Ideally, I would like to fit the larger 28C for comfort and puncture protection.

I've got a 2016 Roubaix in the Expert flavor. The wheels are the original Fulcrums. I just put Specialized Turbo Pro 28s on them. They just fit. The front is very close to the brake bridge and the back is very close to the downtube and chain stays. I couldn't go any wider than that.
