Count me in...I'm coming to this challenge late, but I have been doing pt for knee pain for the last 30 Days. Sunday was the first day I have gotten back on the bike. I only did a mile and a half but I have added the exercise bike to the PT. May not be able to do more than a few days to start...but my goal is to get up to 6 miles a day by the end of the 30 days.
I can’t do 10 everyday , my knees say , no way . 😃

Always nice when you can get the Mrs out to ride with you. Looks like everyone is doing great with this.
As for me... Day 1 C/W. 11.3 miles. Feels good!

Day 20 completed. Waited for the wife to be up and about and just when I thought we were going to head out I got a text from the dentist reminding me of my appointment in an hour. Ended up not riding until the afternoon which threw me out of sorts but we got it done and the wife enjoyed the ride.

Day 21 today. Was foggy and my glasses got so much moisture on them I had to look over the tops most of the way but I got it done!

Day one....I got out and got my knees loosened up. 3.2 miles. Up from 1.5 on Sunday when I first got the bike out and pumped up the tires.

Day 2...had PT today, but rode a spin bike for 10 minutes (2.6 miles). Plus another hour of stretching and other various forms of torture.

Day 22! Was hard getting up at 5:30 today but once out and about I did fine. Pretty windy but thankfully only the front five miles.

10 miles every morning is my normal workout. Sometimes I miss, but I try to do it every day. And the thing is that when I'm off the bike for a while, I feel like I don't have the energy to get up in the morning and go ride. But when I'm doing it regularly, I have the energy. It's just the consequence of normal regular exercise, you start feeling better and have more energy to do stuff. And I'm sure you discovered this since I see you're now on day 22. I hope once you reach 30 days you don't just stop and instead make this a regular thing.

Day 23 done! Chilly morning, was so cold going down the hill from the house I had to pedal back up to get a sweatshirt so I got some extra exercise.

I’m Late to the Challenge But I’m In
I have been riding 5-6 days a week since mid July. It’s been hard to get out some days because there is still a lot of smoke from the fires we have been having in California. Starting tomorrow , I’m going for 30 days straight! I have been averaging 8-9 miles rides but have done a few 10 plus mile rides. I rode 11 miles on Friday and felt like I could keep going, but I dont want to push too hard and get injured. So I’m trying to increase my mileage by only 10 percent a week to prevent injury. I’ve ready that adding 10 percent a week if a good guideline.

I always heard the ten percent rule when I was a runner but haven't seen it for riding. It makes sense though, especially if you're riding hard.

I’m not sure I’m riding that hard, but I’m getting a little faster and going a little longer each week. Listening to some testimonies on this forum is making me realized that even at 46 I can become An accomplished cyclist if I work hard at it.

I had that problem one morning last week, might have been the same day as your ride. I had to stop three times to wipe my glasses off, not easy when you're wearing a moisture wicking nylon shirt, but actually wiping them on my shorts worked better. They got all foggy again and I said the heck with it, just wanna finish the ride and did the best I could in the dark until I reached my 10 mile goal.
