That IS curious... I am the exception since both of my lowracers use a disc in front but a rim brake in the rear. My resistance to hydraulics has always been that I wanted my brake levers to match.

OP - I am just confused to why people shorten it to 'Hydro'. The o makes it pertain to water?
why not just shorten hydraulics to 'HYDR' ?
