When your addiction sends you over the pond

Hi from Sunny South Africa. Cape Town be exact. I signed up to this site because I saw a part which was sold on the forum and wanted to find out more about it, in the how I will be able to convince the new owner to part with it. Anyhow, hopefully I don't spend too much money while I'm here.. shipping costs more than most parts

Welcome Charlsouma! You may find that there are better online marketplaces for parts purchase, especially with your location. We welcome you to join in our many discussion about cycling! What kind of bikes do you like to ride?

In a silent way... now that's some fine music .. I have the LP. Just excellent. Thanks for the advice, I know it's a long shot but I'll see where it leads. I ride mostly vintage steel South African bikes, but I have dabbled with a few European frames which have been quite eye opening for me on the small builders that are still operating.

welcome.

i have a relative (not close) who lives periodically in Namibia.
Closest i could get to RSA.

i too ride a lot of old steel.
C&V Sales has been an affordable source for me, at times.
