Schwinn Cruiser Deluxe 7 - modded
I have an '00, evidently half heartedly converted from 7 to a 1-spd. It's in its highest gear, a bear to peddle going slow.
Do you think it's easier/cheaper to make a more usable one speed'er, or put back the 7? I'm a newbie so cant post pics yet. Thx.

You pulled off the derailleur and installed a shortened chain on the smallest sprocket (gear 7) of your existing hub?
Or do you have a 7-speed internal gear hub like the bike ad in this link? If so, how'd you make that stay in 7th gear?

I got the bike this way and don’t know who removed it. It looks like the internal system a customer of mine owns a bike shop and is going to look at it for me

It turns out: Bike completely switched over to fixie, chainrings 52T front, sub 20 rear. Just needs lower size ratio for my 60-something yr old legs
