I don't "think" umd is using kuf's account. I don't care. I don't have an opinion on it. The message is for whoever is using the account (or/if). That message is "Your way of going about getting him back is flawed."
I never said I 'wanted' the guy banned....I like him; he's a FB friend, and he's posted here a million times. I said I supported the moderators' decision, many of which I also like. That he got banned wasn't particularly surprising since he was warned by myself and others quite a number of times to let the road forum stuff go because it was causing him trouble. It was suggested to him that losing the racing forum wasn't worth it. That he he got a perma ban is a drag, but so it goes. Most of us aren't that vested in here that we see it as the worst thing to ever happen.
So, since you missed the gist of the message, which was that the drama is detrimental to this particular BF community I'll ask nicely that you refrain from continuing to cause it.

Unless I'm mistaken AT&T's data network is still better: as I understand it you can't talk and surf simultaneously on verizon. Not sure if that's accurate.

Packing up the last stuff for team camp; finishing breakfast; hoping I didn't miss something important.
Oh, and coffee too. Can't have enough coffee.

With the droid x you can do that now. I don't think it was the network, it was the phones that couldn't do that.

When Pcad, the Ultimate BF Apple Weenie reports it, take it to the bank. Then you can withdraw some cash and buy APPL and VZN.

By the way, AT&T isn't so bad if you're closer to civilization. Up here in outer bumfark, Verizon pisses all over it. I tried using my neighbor's ATT iPhone up here. Forget about it. VZN coverage is 10x better. For all ATT's ad claims about their network, Consumer Reports and customer satisfaction surveys consistently rank ATT service at or near the bottom and VZN at the top in the US.

One huge advantage of an ATT iPhone is that it will work overseas. From all reports the first Verizon iPhone will be CDMA only, no GSM. I don't go abroad much, no big deal for me, but guys like botto would find that a huge pain. Future Verizon iPhones may well either be dual mode which would work anywhere.

Going to the first Polar Bear ride this weekend. It's about 29F right now. I wonder how many southerners will show for this?
It's usually a huge ride with racers and Freds alike.

I've always admired racers, (and other athletes), for their ability to stay focused and train and maintain their fitness through the years, no matter what comes up.
Usually, I can stay in good enough shape to do the long climbing rides with younger and fitter friends, albeit otb a lot, but this year I kinda let it go a little.
About to go get spanked in the hills, hoping to stay on.

Oh, I watched part of the Bud Greenspan documentary about the 2000 Olympics which has been airing on Universal Sports. There is a segment about Leontin Van Moorsal and how she battled back from anorexia to take gold on the track, the road, and in the TT. Good story.

Mikey's biggest crime is in trying to take the parts of others' internet personnas that stand the most out to him. He lacks any level of expertise (except maybe in surviving high school, or in applying to college) to tell anyone in either the road or racing forums how things are or should be. If he'd just make an effort to pay attention BF could be a treasure trove of information for him. As things are in our class I'd vote him most likely to get put on ignore.

$49 for an iphone is a steal imo. I think I paid over 300 for mine 2 yrs ago. And maybe with an optional carrier the contracts will get a little cheaper. That would be nice.
