It seems like it would need a pump system to keep from filling up when waves wash over the top. or when cyclists/pedestrians splash water in. What about changing water levels: is the lake level THAT stable?

Looks like a Bad Idea(tm) to me.

Visually it looks stunning, but I get the feeling the path is not bone dry like the video would lead you to believe it is.

Rain, as well. It's right up on that wall - get a half inch of rain coming down and you'll have that place pretty wet.

I was on the Silver Comet trail outside Atlanta last week and saw a large pond next to the trail with what I thought were fountains and was about to check it out when I realized it was a sewage treatment plant.

So this little trip is 212 meters across a pond. For those wondering about the water flooding they have drains in the walls so this doesn't happen. Its a water reclamation area so the water level doesn't change very much I guess. they have a website too. I appears to be very stable.
