Christmas gift: Origin8 SL18's for knobby tire and winter riding. They're spec'd as being 23.2mm wide (measured closer to 23.5) which is cool as I shouldn't really have to mess with my brakes when switching between these and my Archetypes. Going to lace my old Formula hubs to these with stainless double butted spokes and red nipples.

That would be funny if some TSA moron who was into cycling asked a question about it. So long as they didn't actually hassle you about it.

I wonder what FSA and other who use that proprietary BB, which is supposed to be universal, are saying about ISIS now with all the hoopla.

Continuing the anodized red theme on my Salsa with these bad boys. They are kinda corny but its a small detail and I love little anodized bits. Kind of a throwback to the flouro yellow/anodized purple color scheme on my Trek 1200.

The two pairs of shoes I've had I bought used so with some help from a gift card I got these.

I sorta wanted the empires but I didn't care for any of the color ways available

I didn't just buy it, but it did just arrive.

Trash Bags Garbage Truck

For reference, that is a rolled up Chrome Metropolis snapped into the bottom straps.

Ebay purchased a pair of Lake road shoes with carbon soles. My Shimano shoes of 5 years don't feel very good anymore.

Now to find out if I can have the rachet mechanism on the Shimano shoes sewn onto the Lake shoes

Yeah, it's a roll-top (waterproof) backpack. They make messenger bags too, though. This particular bag is a custom job - my colors and my artwork - so I had to wait about 6-8 weeks to actually get it. It has a change pouch and a plethora of pen loops under the flap, too. (I carry quite the arsenal of writing instruments )

My old, well worn, Chrome Ivan is no longer waterproof (I found my laptop sleeve and clothes a bit wet after riding in a rainstorm), and Chrome said it would be cheaper to replace it than to repair it. ($210+shipping for a replacement), so I replaced it, just not with another Chrome bag.

Squeet! Glad you like it. I was wearing mine today to grab lunch, was able to hold one empanada in one hand, and one empanada behind the back and a drink in the other!

I'm assuming you have a discontinued color one, as that's literally the price for a new one which would be shipped to for free....

Oh, and from what I heard, this family of bags is going bye bye. So if you want one, better get one soon before it's too late.
