The ride is amazing, not so stiff it's unpleasant but not flexing all over when I sprint. Still unsure if I'm gonna put risers on it or keep it as is.

Here is my son's "apartment" bike. These minivelos make a lot of sense when you don't have a lot of space to store your bike.
Lot of parts bin parts. Bars have some Benotto tape I found in Silao, Mexico. Position is too aggressive for me, but he is only 25.

Nominally they are 20 inch. However, they are the slightly larger ETRTO 451 size; sometimes called "the English 20 inch", as opposed to the more common ETRTO 406 like you find on BMX bikes.

My buddy works a lot in China for his company. As a goof he sent me a mini-velo that he got out the back door of a factory. Turned out the joke was on him, it was a ton of fun and the short wheelbase made for an ideal "train" bike.

I researched quite a bit trying to figure out what brand it would have been if it had made it to the manufacturer. For quite a while I thought it was meant to a Big Shot Mini Polo Bike but finally decided it was most likely an M Fixie like yours. A gas-pipe POS, but I loved it.

Then I foolishly let some guy on the train buy it practically right out from under me (for a ridiculously high price of course) but whenever something like your post brings it to mind, I get nostalgic for and regret selling that damn thing...

These bikes are a lot of fun, the small wheels just make them so agile and the frame does a decent job of transferring power. I have a couple of folding bikes, but those they feel so flexy when you start to cane them, that I am always afraid I am going to break them.

If you want another minivelo, this is always an option.

Yeah, I enjoyed mine immensely. After I let it go and started having seller regret I shopped them all - from low to hi-end. I am one of those guys who is generally predisposed against gears and Bikesdirect stuff so theirs never piqued my interest too much.

I am presently in N-1 mode and don't have to ride the train much anymore so I got over it and am on on to other things...it was just seeing yours got me a lil misty-eyed

That's a Lefty fork that Cannondale has been using for years on their MTBs. I have an old Cannondale Jekyll that has a lefty fork, and the neat thing is that you can change a tube to fix a flat w/o removing the front wheel from the fork.

That bike is rad for sure.

Here's my Wabi Classic 51cm that I finished building recently. I only got the frameset and crankset from Richard as I had left over parts from an old bike. It's my daily commuter and I'm loving it. Highly recommended!
