A little shameless advertsing. With the current currency exchange, our friends south of the 49 should come and explore the cycling in our neighborhood.

Nope, no night riding, though we do commute in the dark. We went out specifically to try and shoot this. Tricia has her bike up on a picnic table. I set up lights.

thanks!

No escalator, just a 5200 foot hill to ride up from sea level, in less than 20 miles. Great ride and beautiful scenery.

Indeed a beautiful spot. I recall driving up there during a multi week driving tour of the west with my teenage kids. We saw a mama bear with two cubs beside the road.

Pie ride this morning - in the rain. Had to wash his and her bike afterwards. Wouldn't you know it the sun came out after they were washed. Thought it was an appropriate time to take a "family photo". Never taken one of the Cannondale family all together. Caad8 DuraAce, Caad8 Athena 11, Caad5 105, Caad9 Athena 11. Just like our kids, we love them all equally.

Honeysuckle Beach at Hayden Lake in Hayden, Idaho. Went on the 24-mile loop around the lake. Lots of up-and-downs. Very little traffic, and what there was were patient while I hauled my huge carcass up the inclines.

Coeur d'Alene resort. Same ride as above.

Rode a metric century today on the 'Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes' from Harrison to Pinehurst, out and back. It was pretty hazy with fire smoke from somewhere or other. Didn't really smell too bad, so I when ahead and rode. Had a wonderful rolling chat for about twenty miles with a fellow a year older than me from Boise. We talked about everything under the sun, and the slower pace ate into my average mph for the ride.

I'm a sucker for old, abandoned houses and barns. The older and more decrepit, the better. At Medimont on the trail.

An elk in a field about 100 meters off the bike path.

I'm envious of the great weather you're having in Coeur d'Alene. My only time cycling there it was 38F and raining. It was a miserable ride. Needless to say I look forward to the opportunity to ride there again ... in the sunshine.

FL Lakes

Florida lake country ride.
First week of riding with my wife - first time in decades for her.
She loved the Electra 7D and was wearing a big grin.

I love abandoned places as well. Nice picture. Nice bike. I like the way your saddle bag matches the blue of the bike.

Couldn't resist taking a sunrise photo a couple days ago. I don't normally ride this early anymore but love seeing the sun come up.

This is the little girl I used to carry up stairs and tuck in. We shot this Saturday night, barely getting up the hill near our house as the light started to fade.

How do you post a picture so it doesn't look postage stamp size? I see a lot of pictures here start right out at a good viewing size.
