skid friendly gumwalls?
I love gatorskins, great tires, but am on the hunt for some tanwalls that are skid friendly.
my best bet that I've found so far is Conti GP Classics, or it seems that at one point they sold the 4000's with a tan wall but can't find any for sale.

Banned.
GP Classics won't hold up to skidding.
Pasela PT are the best you're gonna get and even those won't last very long because the rubber is soft.

In theory, Rivendell Ruffy Tuffy tires might work well. They have a kevlar belt, so the rubber is pretty heavy duty. But then you're spending a lot on nice tires to shred up, which doesn't make much sense to me.
As Scrod said, Pasela's may strike the balance between price/wear life.

No tires are skid friendly. Skidding is bad for your tires. If you're going to do it a lot, you might as well not waste your money on good tires.

Would learn not to use good tires? Depends on the level of car and driver.
Pro-level cars like those from Formula D have far too much horsepower and torque to run s*** tires. They have to be strong enough to last through a lap, wear even without breaking apart in chunks and have predictable traction throughout.

When I was younger I always wanted a fast looking car with a great audio system, with decals and logos, and whatnot.
Now that I'm older, I want the blandest looking car that will blend in with everything on the road and a big enough engine to zip around when needed.
I like to speed and having a car that looks like everything else goes a long way in preventing speeding tickets.

I have had both of those. This last car I bought has two audio systems in it. One is a 500 watt stereo system with factory subs in the doors. The other is a 420hp 302 cubic inch V8 with an exhaust system. 
I guess I got tired of blending in and decided that like bikes, life is too short to drive a boring car.

To be completely honest, I'm considering a sprinter van for my next vehicle...then quit my job and just go ride bikes forever.

Hey, that's fine. I'm content with my car being a tool that carries my bikes and get's me to work on occasion. I really don't enjoy driving that much anymore.

This is how I spent my vacation last year, albeit in a Honda Civic, with only a road bike, and all within CA. Highly recommend.
