That Raleigh Pro I mentioned last year. Still not built up into a 3-speed. Still looks vaguely greenish to me but it might be good enough for the thread.

This was posted last year, but has been re-purposed as the vintage off-roadie.
And it has just been sooooo brown this winter.

Anyone give me the pronunciation of a French Follis???

Winter project, my currently in build Bill Philbrook tourer. Built by Bill in July 1975 and repainted by Colour Tech in Kent. The original colour was awful and had gone matt as it had been at the back of Chas Robert's workshop for a number of decades - I bought it when the shop closed. I had it repainted in Ford Arizona Gold as my Dad had a new Ford Granada in this colour in 1975. The head tube shows the mounts, not for cantilevers but for direct mount Mafac centrepulls.
Here's a Classic Lightweights piece on Bill - Bill Philbrook - frame builder
Hope you like it.
J.

Greetings Guys & Gals; Brown & gold bikes, my favorite colors & yes my bikes are in that spectrum. But I can't post pictures because I don't have 10 posts yet, so I'm working on it! I have a Colin Laing from 1976 & it's gorgeous, subjective of course. Ole' Bob

Still sorting out some tires with a bit of tread. Thinking either the Compass/RH Pumpkin Ridge, or WTB Resolutes. Only been able to ride it twice this winter, but I like it!

I can play this time!

This is the 19?? Lenton Sports I got from Randyjawa a couple suns back. Built it new 650A wheels, cleaned it up, and all I need now is to find the right 118 bcd 3-arm chainring (fewer than 39 teeth), and then spend 2-3 hours with it, and my wife will have another that's hers alone.

My wife's 2 x 9 1975 Raleigh International. Rear was already spread when I got it, and this has become her favorite after getting it on the road last summer with the new wheelset I built around some modern Shimano hubs..

The infamous Gugificazione editing of the 1972 Raleigh Competizione. Just got this on the road last year, and it is a joy to ride. Still working out the light mounting and the bags, but this one will be my "A-train" for long rides for many years to come. This one has it's own thread that has been in stasis over the winter.

Another that I got on the road last year... well, Sloar did most of the work, and I adjusted a few things. The 1974 International found a new home here a ways south, and it's a blast to ride. Going to leave it as a triple for the foreseeable future.

One Colin Laing
Greetings Hudson & all;
One of the other members had found my photos & posted them, computer whiz for sure. I don't know how he found them or how he posted them. But I had thought most here had seen them. Of course that was another thread. The Laing still hangs in the same place as it's been hanging for at least 4 or 5 years. I had cleaned & waxed it after a short ride back then. And found a very little bit of deterioration on some of the chrome so I polished it off & greased the chrome. That's why it looks so dirty as the dust just clings to the grease. A few days ago I got out the Reynold's 531 tube set that I had encased in grease-oil 25 years ago & put into a heavy tube. I haven't opened it yet. That's on tomorrow's agenda along with taking pictures of the set. And I have to get back down to the basement & finish sorting what might go, what I to keep & more new pictures. That is very hard to do, because it means that I'm done "too damn old" & I don't really want to except that thought. Anyway I'm holding off posting anywhere (FB, CL) until I join here as I want to give you guys first shot at this unusual stuff. So watch for my posts around the 1st or 2nd of April. Thank you for the feed back, Ole' Bob.
Ps: Ya get a picture of my car too because I don't know how to manage posting & managing pictures very well!

Flush bumper on the Malibu is awesome ! Nicest job like that I’ve ever seen. Excellent wheel choice too ! Had a shot at a 9C1 once, that will forever be on my “ones that got away” list.

Sort of an oxblood brown with ghosts of the original decals. Should have gone brown on the bars and brakes.
