All-City Big Block - New wheelset needed
Hi Everyone,
I have a first generation Big Block I gave to my brother to use. Long story short, I am missing the wheels and rear hub. So I need to find some new wheels. I am mechanically inclined, I work and ride dirtbikes, but I am not familiar with bike mechanics much. Such as is a lockring 1 standard size, or does this brand cog fit my All-City? etc. Is it a different reverse thread lockring for he freewheel side?
1. What size hub do I need 130mm or 120mm?
2. Looks like the All-City Lockrings are sold out everywhere I look, along with 16t-18t cogs. Any ideas?
3. What size wheels do you recommend for flip/flop setup? what spokes will I need f need? Do they come with nipples?
I am in small farm town / bike path riding environments and looking for some speed and good exercise. Would like to try and do some tricks!

For wheelsets, Can I just buy a pair ready to throw onto the bike? Do I just need a 100mm front and 120mm rear with 700c wheels?
What spoke length will I need for the All City Track hubs and CR-18 700c wheels?
I dont know how wheel sets will match up to the big block so I didnt focus on wheelsets. What should I be matching up?

Anything from here would work: https://www.velomine.com/index.php?m...6g83495k6fi0s3 It'll probably save you money over building wheels, unless you already have the hubs and rims you want to use.

They have three fixed hubs: New Sheriff, Standard Track, and Standard Track 130
Call your Local Bike Shops, one of them almost definitely deals with a distributor that deals with All City and can get you one of the non-130 hubs.
Or hit one of the frequently recommended web shops. Retrogression.com is pretty popular around here, and has truly earned that popularity from what I can tell.

I've been using Gran Compe for a few years and have no complaints. They're good bang for buck.
