I hate to correct spelling, but it is Cream. Just too good to misspell.

Appropriate for the age group, but maybe the 65+ thread.
Not implying any one person is at the end of the line. Lot of good thoughts in the song. IMHO.

Jeff Beck, the early Fleetwood Mac (that just played the blues), Johnny Winter. (Johnny Winter said something when I saw him as a teen that was life changing. (Paraphrasing) "If you like what I am playing, it's all the blues, If you want to hear the very best, go see Muddy Waters." Next winter, I saw Waters and band play in a club until 2am. Last two hours I was the only paying customer. Watched a band member make sounds that blew my mind with the $3 instrument I'd been playing for a year. He played through a mic in cupped hands through a guitar amp. (I started thank to Johnny Winter. Harmonica. He played it on one song on his Progressive Blues Experiment. Heard it and thought I could do that. Went out and bought a harp.)

Canned Heat's Alan Wilson - that guy could play!

I got to thank Johnny Winter face to face a few years before he passed. He in his bus after the show, busy signing CDs. I brought no CD, just thanked him for turning me on to Muddy Waters. He was near blind as a bat and had no idea who was at his window, but he heard that and lit up.

Somebody up there mentioned Buffalo Springfield which reminded me of this Del McCoury and Friends covering "For What It's Worth"

Great song, great performances, great musicianship and very tasty.

And just for completeness, here's the 1928 Henry Thomas rendition of "Bulldoze Blues" which, it seems started it all:
For anybody interested, apparently Thomas played the flute part on something called "quills" which were some sort of pan pipe made of cane reeds. Of course, we have no video of Thomas playing this.
