Thanks for the advice everyone. Another problem are my hands are not exactly my strong point these days. Carpul tunnel in the left and a fused joints in my thumb and forefinger on the right hand form a motorcycle accident years ago. I have some Schwalbe Delta Cruisers on order so I will see how those mount up. Thanks again.

It seems as though everybody swears by these. I admit the levers are strong and I have yet to break one. My only complaint is they are a little to wide sometimes.

I do every tire I possibly can by hand. For that stubborn tire that my whimpy self cant manage with my built in tools...I have a stack of park levers.

Pedros levers ftw.

dsh - that's also my preferred method for wrestling a stubborn tire on because it doesn't make my thumbs feel like an arthritic 90-year old man when I'm done.

my weak girly hands make mounting tires a PITA. And so i use this.

oh EDIT: i did break a pedro lever before.
I still use them lots, then when the really stubborn ones comes, I use the kool stop

my competent friend broke three pedros levers mounting onto cr18s. the width makes it more difficult.

I had my 37c Paselas on Weinmann Dp18s for hundreds of miles and never had a problem.

Mounting is easy on my CR18s but I have big tires.
