Wide Shoes Sidi vs Lake
I have a pair of Sidi Dominator Mega Wide shoes in 50. They are a little too long and a little too narrow. How do Lake Wide Mountain shoes compare? I can't get consistent enough foot tracings to use that as a base line as recommended on the Lake web site.

Your problem is pretty much universal.
Gotta try them on, which is hard to find a
place that carry a variety.
So we order , return , order return...
Found a pair of wide shimano’s that fit perfect.
I now have 3 pair of the same size, model & year.
Looked to get another pair...No longer made.
But am ok for a while,
Good luck

Well you've eliminated a few
Point was
When you find a pair (of whatever model, brand & size) that fit well
get more than one pretty quick before they discontinue them &
come out with new models.
I got one pair pretty cheap on a closeout sale.

I have a pair of Sidi mega and also a pair of Lake wide road shoe. The sidi has more room.
I've actually taken the Lake to a shoe repair store and had them stretched. The sidi seems to have more room in the toe box.

I guess I stick with the Sidis unless someone comes in and says the mountain shoes are wider.

I was poking around on various internet sites. All were reputable. Seems weight loss can shrink your feet a little. I need to drop another 45 or so, pounds. I may yet be able to wear off the shelf shoes without pinching.
