Hello everyone, I wanted to know if anyone had experienced with the wtb trailblazer 2.8 27.5 plus tires, what are your thoughts on it, are they good or not really.

Yes, but what I want to know is if they are good tires or if there is a better tire out there that maybe lighter for a plus sise and price.

It depends on the type of riding you do. Trailblazer 2.8 plus tire has a tall/square profile where the knobs are fairly in the center and the sidewalls are wider than the knob area. As such it has two weakness 1) during hard/sharp cornering at high speed where you have to lay the bike way over, the tire will lose traction because it runs out of knobs, and 2) with the sidewall sticking out, the tire is vulnerable to sidewall punctures when riding on sharp rocks. If those aren't your normal riding conditions then they are good tires.

Can you guys recommend a tire with good grip all around, for cornering, is there a tire out there that has grip and speed?

Panaracer Fire XC Pros have been very nice. I run them in 26", but I read they are supposed to be available in 27.5. I've not verified this.
