Perhaps I'm cheating ?
Not bought but given to me by my Wife's Dad Peter, in the mid 1980s - 1951 Hobbs of Barbican and his sister Pam's 1950 Hobbs of Barbican, Pam bought hers first and it was left in England when she emigrated to Australia in the early 1960s. Both HoB were bought new by Pam and Peter.
They toured together in the Loire Valley in the 1950s.
Bought from the original owner my 1966 Raleigh Superbe.
Given to me by the original owner my 1964 Allin Stan Butler Special Belgique.
John.

Here is my 1962 Rudge Sports, after I fixed it up. I got it at an estate sale in 2011. Both occupants of the house had died, so I think it's a reasonable presumption that it was with the original owner. I bought this plus another English 3-speed for $30 combined!

...from sometime in the mid 60's. Bought by the original owner in San Fran (at American Cyclery, IIRC). He had since moved up to the foothills off 88, and stopped riding it much. He gave me the cool portable repair stand as a bonus.

Bought it from the original owner who bought it in 1991 for $2300 (value adjusted for inflation from 90s value). 1st owner was 83 and selling his prized possesions, this bike being one of them. He didn't want to sell it, but as he told me, "Age and time make us frail and weak. I enjoyed that bike and it's time someone else enjoyed it, too." He maintained the bike and replaced most of the parts with what I assume he said were some type of aviation grease and high quality ball bearings instead of caged throughout the bike.
I couldn't get the original receipt but he was kind enough to be oldschool and offer a bill of sale.
The bike isn't some showroom piece. I've taken it across the Rockies to Vancouver and many other places while trying to maintain it meticulously. It still looks like it's brand new and I plan to keep it that way while getting the most out of it.
The bike looks a lot cooler now, in my opinion

I have a 1982 Trek 720 and a Davidson racing bike (early 80s perhaps a bit earlier) that I bought from the original owners. I've never done anything with the Davidson and one day I need to build it or move it on.

Definitely this one. My 1974 Cinelli Speciale Corsa, which my friend's uncle bought new when he lived in Naples, Italy. When I asked him how much he wanted for it, he said that if I gave him a ride to the airport the following week we would be good. Best deal ever!

I've still got this 76 Fuji America in as found condition. I took it for a quick ride before purchasing from the original owner and was really impressed.

My 1976 Motobecane Grand Jubile, the most wonderful bike I've ever had the pleasure of riding. I actually didn't have to pay for. It was given to me by a dear friend and coworker, whose husband aged to the point where he couldn't ride it anymore.

I don't know if this counts because I don't own this bike yet, but hope to someday. My uncle bought this Wards Hawthorne new in 1941, and hadn't ridden it since 1956 when he put it in the rafters of his garage. I pulled it down this past summer and refurbished it for him and got it rideable once again.

I purchased this 750 from the original owner in 92 or 93. the original owner bought it to ride a century, he was mainly a mountain bike rider. The bike shop sold him on this bike, knobby tires and all. I paid 165 for it. This was my commuter and back up to my 82 Trek 710.
The only original parts on this are the seat post and fork. Just upgraded it to a 9 speed.

91 Haro Extreme. I had a 92 that I wrecked in 93 and when I saw this nearby, I had to get it to relive the old days. The guy bought it brand new and seemed kinda fond of it. It was stock and barely used, just the seatpost saw some up and down action.

Trek 930
I got this Trek 930 from its original owner in rather ratty shape. I ditched almost everything, made a single speed freewheel, added bullmoose bars and Magura rim crushers. It felt like a big BMX.

Thanks! Not the original paint. PO was a bike mech at a shop in Oshkosh WI, put a lot of miles on it, then had Trek repaint it in the metallic white, that was an production color for that frame.

I took over guardianship of this 1938 Malvern Star bike from my wife's uncle who bought it new in 1938. He originally used it as a telegram delivery boy as the government issued bikes were really heavy and hard to push for a 13 year old boy.
He rode this bike regularly up unto his 80th birthday. It's condition is as he took his last ride - it's in a perfectly roadworthy condition.

Bought a 77 Motobecane on ebay and never actually met the seller but when we spoke about getting the bike shipped, things he said led me to believe that he had owned the bike a very long time and was probably the original owner. I thought it impolite to ask what might be personal questions -- if he wanted me to know more about his history, he would have told me. First picture is how the bike looked in the ad and the final is the bike less than a week after I got it. To say that I worked on the bike enthusiastically is an understatment, I love this bicycle.
As Advertised
Less than 24 hours after I got it,
A couple days later. No cable shprtage her.

1989 Centurion Ironman. It had original components til I came along. Now sporting Dura Ace 7700 9 speed. I love this bike. The only Ironman of the 4 I have set up as a road bike. The other 3 are built for Triathlons.
My second favorite bike.

That would be my 1964 Schwinn Twinn. It was given to me by the original owner who purchased it while in college. He brought it to Canada when he was stationed here during the Viet Nam conflict, and ended up staying.
I gave it a refresh, but sadly it does not get much use.
