NYC - GWB Traffic Enforcement
Has anyone heard whether cyclists are getting ticketed for turning left off Hudson Terrace to get on the GWB (heading back to Manhattan)? The Fort Lee Police were handing out tickets last year, but I haven't yet heard if people are having any issues this year.

Nothing yet, but if you drive over Ft Lee has banned all non-resident parking on Hudson Terrace and surrounding streets.

I would like to know the answer to this also. Weekends are fine last time I checked. If they start ticketing during weekends, then there's gonna be a lot of people upset over this.
Is that on weekends also?
I know it was just for weekdays.

LET'S ROLL
6-7 times a week, sometimes I leave my bike at work. I haven't noticed any ticketing, I ride year round.
No chatter also on my club's active message board, New York Cycle Club.

You can pay to park in their municipal lots. Off season you can park for free in the lots in the park. Ft Lee Historic Park, Ross Dock, etc. Not sure if its all streets in Ft Lee, but they have definitely changed the signs on Hudson Terrace.

I was up in NJ this past weekend and rode from Fort Lee into NYC on Friday and Sunday. The Historical Park still has free parking, but only for another week or two. Then their "season" starts.
I don't think that is quite right. The signs on Hudson Terrace and nearby streets read "cyclists must use municipal metered lot". I didn't see any signs about permit or resident only parking restrictions.
I wonder if such a ban only on cyclists is even enforceable. I'd like to see how the town ordinance allowing ticketing of cyclists is worded. The signs might just be there to intimidate cyclists into using the pay lots.
