Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Tis a shame you think people having a little fun means they have some personal deficiency. You take this place way too seriously.

Who really cares if Ryanf is real or not or if people act like they do or don't believe it when posting in an internet forum? Show of hands?

Maybe we should require 5 forms of ID, a resume, references and a note from Mom before anyone is allowed to post.

then at least we stayed true to ourselves and our beliefs, isnt that more important then being proved wrong?
being unabled to think independantly for yourself would make you a victim.
If you stay true to yourself on your beliefs and you dont let anyone influence your decisions and actions, then your raise or fall are yours and that how I want to live my life. I want to be an independant thinker, I want my success, my falls, my experiences to be based on my desicions and what feels is right to me.

Like a Canuck would choose Michigan as his sockpuppet's place of residence.
If I wanted to create a sockpuppet, he'd be French, in the mold of Euro. (even though he is a Brit, ole Benny boy will always be French to me!)

So you admit to having an imaginary little friend - and you think BDG is crazy?

Red lettering means you searched for him, doesn't it? If he was near your sword would glow blue.

These threads are the best! 6 pages of bunched-up panties and insecurity over an overly enthusiatic teen who may or may not be real. Classic stuff!

“The amazing thing is how well he's taken it all. Read his responses in this thread (post 32) to see how much class he has.”
Quite frankly, the one with class is DrPete… so what is new about that?

“then at least we stayed true to ourselves and our beliefs, isnt that more important then being proved wrong?”
I don’t know? As long as your beliefs are Truth. Believing in something false and being true to that belief does not seem like a virtue. Personally, finding the errors in my program only serves to make it better, not my security in my own belief in it. If it is based on me, I am always right and always justified in my thinking; this is a very dangerous place for me!

Most of the kids I work with have done minimum of 1.5 years hard time and are addicted before they are 18. (HIV, Hep C, etc.) Most of the adults well, you do the math. Deal with Truth and untruth all day… sorry, this boat just don’t float.

Pleeze. The drama queen room is down the hall. Do you seriously think you are the only member of BF who might have been around the block a few times? Actually, maybe you haven't been, cuz after a few laps one usually learns to not fret over things that are meaningless...like whether a kid named Ryanf exists or not or caring about whether anyone else believes it. Loosen them panties...life isn't all drama.

Chipcom,

Give you that one. I see where you got that but that is not where I was aiming.
Don’t see this foolishness much in my Community, it wouldn’t last a millisecond. (Not for lack of foolishness.) As for drama Queens... have you seen your AV?
That’s all.
