Did you crash on the descent? You were there for a minute then gone...

Hard focused hour for me. 3.5-4.0 w/kg all the way up the mountain with occasional forays into the 4.5 area. PB on the climb.

May ride Wednesday. TBD.

ha no, i joined you a few minutes before an event and the event module spririted me away. i did 2 of the 3 laps of the sub-2 ride after i finished riding w/shovel.

Nice work on the PB.

Looks like we are supposed to catch a break in the weather and by Wednesday today's snow should be melted and I'm hoping to get out in the real world.

57 with draft boost.

@valygrl, I'm not buying it. Passing me, flicking an elbow, then disappearing?

I know when I'm being dissed.

I stalked shovelhd for a half hour last night, he didn't acknowledge my presence. I even waved! Eventually i went right when he went left, and I collected the easy-to-get reverse sprinters jersey, then failed to collect the mountaingoat jersey. girl who got it was riding 4.5-5.5 w/kg for most of the ride. wow.

I saw you but I was on a event ride so my screen only showed you when you were front and center. My ride was mellow but once I saw you stalking I cranked it up and put two minutes into the ride. That was a good but unexpected workout for me. I still don't know how to private text someone who is not in my event.

Oh an event, I wondered if you were in something, but didn't see any more riders with the same tag. You must have been out in front of them already.

I thought your phone was out of reach or something.

When I am in an event I tag my presence with the event abbreviation. When I'm JRA I only have my club name next to my name. I change it before every ride. I like the event module because it blocks out other riders, but there are side effects like the one we saw. Even on the phone, I only see riders in the event, so I could not find a way to text you back except to use a group text.

I was about 20 seconds in front of the group when you found me. On the grades the main group will split a bit and then regroup. Once I saw you though I started riding at your pace, and that ended my event participation. I enjoy watching the wheel suckers try and hang onto your wheel.

I have the Garmin version of that adapter on the end of a Belkin 16' powered USB cable. The other thing I did was bring Ethernet to the laptop. Much less latency than wireless.

Darn it! I missed you (and your post)! I was on at 0620 PST this morning. Riding tempo, mostly - as in pretty slow.

I saw you on there - too early for me (I know, even earlier for you!) - but it's my saturday, and never got above 35*, so stretched the day out being lazy.
