Every lane is a bike lane
I dragged out 1927 this morning. Some of the Aussies on this forum might remember them. I'm told they're still playing the pub scene on the Gold Coast apparently.

I shouldn't talk though. I'm in 80's mode myself with Oingo Boingo's 'Dead Man's Party'.

Hmm, this morning it has been a lil bit of Bryan Adams, Annie Lennox, Lenny Kravitz, and (of all things) Fleetwood Mac.

Being a child of the eighties though, I do like a lot of music fro back then. Just not much of the pop stuff (especially Bros). I've got Yello playing now. And of course Talking Heads is my favourite band of all time.

Obligatory on-topic content: I was listening to The Shins this morning. "Kissing the Lipless" is an awesome track! Ra!

Ok. Do not Walk. Do not run. But sprint to your local club to check this band out. Rock: 100%. Politcs: walk like they walk. Spirit raising: higher than the gods.

Just finished listening to "Storms dressed as stars" from Gersey. Never get tired of that CD.

Time to revive this thread.
Today, the mood struck to listen to Toadies "Rubberneck." Great, dark alternative album.
When it's over I think I'll have to put the Andrews Sisters on just to compensate.

I scream at my wife for listening to oldies..In fact a cause in my demanding I always drive...Sexist, HE who drives controls the radio..Household standard..Besides, don't like lane changers in the freeways and she is one......
. I get so sick of oldies.
The point here....Sometimes, remakes are great...From Kill Bill 2(rarely my kind of moive, unsure why we went.)
But anyway, we went.... Anyone hear the tune "She not there."
by Malcolm McLarin (sp?)...Loved it...Love that kind of woeful, punkish sound...
Don't know much about McLarin...Sound track pretty good from Kill Bill....Quentin produces weird movies, but the sound tracks...I like...

After a grueling day of giving standardized tests to a bunch of 5th graders who really did not want to take them, I am kicked back in my classroom while they are at P.E. and listening to Raphael's Music to Disappear In. Ahhhhhh.....

I've been listening to Jagga Jazzist, a brilliant band in the Tortoise vein. Genius blending of modern electronics with progressive jazz.
