Very nice Crescent in Vancouver

This is the top-of-the-line model, full 531, campy all over, super-record rear mech and either super-record pedals or maybe Hi-E/Weyless, picture is not good, and at a price that if I lived there I wouldn't be wasting time posting to you all about it:

https://vancouver.craigslist.org/van...267884045.html

These are classy looking machines if you get a good one - flat (very) crown with sharp edges, very tapered stays, Nervex lugs, no braze-ons for anything, and, of course, ORANGE!!!

I don't know the pre-Trek Lemond lineup well enough to know if this is a good deal, but they are rare enough I figured it's worth posting here.
Mixed groupset, but there is some value there with the DA/Ultegra bits.

Pre-Trek Lemond Road Bike 55 (M/L) excellent condition tuned - $450 (Denver CL link)

Greg Lemond Road bike
This is a pre-Trek model, around 1992/1993 model I believe
It is about a 55 cm frame and fits riders best around 5-9 to 6-0

Lugged steel frame and fork

Mix of parts include:
Dura Ace shifters
Dura Ace rear derrailer
Ultegra brakes
Ultegra rear hub
105 cranks
Ultegra front derrailer
WTB grease guard front hub
Salsa bars
Zoic stem
Ritchey seatpost

Fully tuned and ready to ride

Beautiful bike!

Local only cash sales

Thanks for looking

Lots more pics at the ad. With those "Outdoors" decals, maybe it was a team bike at some point?

A bit pricy, but not unfair given the condition here...

https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/b...268255113.html

1979 Motobecane Le Champion NOS - $1,200 (Ballard)

Second to the top of the line in 1979 from Motobecane. All Campagnolo components: hubs, pedals, shifters, brakes, levers, crankset, derailleurs, headset. Fully lugged hand brazed frame with 100 percent Reynolds 531 tube set. This bike has been sitting in a dark, heated warehouse in Kent for the last 40+ years. It has beed out of the box once to take pictures. The original plastic bag was disintegrating so I got rid of it. It is exactly the way it was shipped from the factory to R.H. Brown (the importer) in 1979. The saddle, as well as the sewn on leather wrapped bars are perfect. The headset, bottom bracket and hubs will likely need the 40 year old grease replaced, but this bike has never been assembled and ridden; not something you will likely ever see again. Even comes with the original frame pump.I would arrange to meet buyer at Wright Bros. Cycle Works in Fremont. Bring $1200 cash and it's yours.

Looks like a late 70s PX10 to me.

Certainly worth the Benjamin from what I can see - looks like seat post and saddle are not original, but otherwise promising.

That's a nice bike--- and one that's one my "someday" list! I emailed the seller, and it's a 59 seat tube with a 59 cm top tube-- too stretched out for me. But someone should grab this....

Yep, very pretty, but still $$$$$ to me.

Seems like most any "vintage" bike like this ends up at $1200 or such, needs to be early 60's in this kind of shape or a very coveted brand, Cinelli, Masi, Colnago, Bianchi, Merz, etc. at this kind of pricepoint IMO.

And yes I know the ones I listed are on efbay for more than this, that's the problem, efbay skews reality for too many sellers.
